Can I use my health insurance to pay for a massage?
Use your HSA and FSA health insurance cards to pay for massage therapy.
We are happy to announce that CityTouch Licensed Massage Therapy is now classified as a Therapeutic Massage facility under Merchant Category Code 8099. As such we are able to accept payments for services via a Health Savings Account (#HSA) or a Flexible Spending Account (#FSA). We cannot, however, accept payments with any other health insurance plan at this time. Check with your insurance company first to verify that licensed massage therapy is covered under your specific plan. Once verified, book your appointment online using your HSA or FSA card.
In some instances, you may need a doctor’s prescription first to allow payment. We will always provide a digital receipt of your appointment, which will list insurance procedure codes or your massage therapist's license number. Please let us know this before your appointment by making a note of this when you book online under "anything we should know before your appointment".
